At just 29, Anna-Lee has held leadership and mentoring roles in Australia, Germany & the UK. Here begins yet another story of an arts graduate “accidentally” falling into the industry, having started as a confused 20-year-old in an admin role. After four years progressing in media analyst roles, she found herself she relocating from Australia to Germany at 26 to lead Insights for Volkswagen at MediaCom Global. Here, she led insights, data and best practice across 32 markets and developed the global market segmentation. Two years later, she moved to London and took on the challenging role of Global New Product Director of MediaCom UK. Here, she led the redevelopment of a planning system for over 6000 MediaCommers worldwide. After unveiling the platform at Cannes last year, she decided to move to a creative agency. She is currently Digital Performance Director at Wunderman UK, the first role of its kind, and is focused on ensuring creativity and data are combined to create the best campaigns and results. Within a few months, creative work supported by the team has been presented at Cannes 2018 and she has also been named in the Top 5 for DATAIQ’s young talent award for 2018.
