The Lenovo Legion range was originally launched from a community of PC gamers and the brand ambition has always been to talk with gamers, in order to develop customer centric products. We wanted to identify the potential communities, the topics of discussion within these communities, and the consumer intent to help steer our positioning, messaging and media as well to understand people’s motivations along the customer journey. We believed that there was a better way of doing this using scaled data from the gaming community. So we took the same approach as the Lenovo R&D team and listened to the community to understand what people actually do.
