After years of promoting their message on newsfeeds, TV screens and newspaper pages, this was the first time Snickers and Spotify decided a media innovation was needed to re-ignite the 'You're Not You When You're Hungry' campaign and its great success. Through Spotify’s streaming intelligence (first-party, contextual data) they pinpointed times when users were listening to music outside of their normal habits and offered links to playlists of their favourite genres instead, an audio and media innovation first.
