The most accessible break ever!

We partnered with seven advertisers (Allianz Insurance, British Gas, Flash, Maltesers, Nationwide, O2 and Samsung) to deliver the most accessible ad break in history, with each ad fully signed by deaf artist and actor David Ellington. David (who also starred in the signed version of Channel 4’s We’re The Superhumans trail) provided an entertaining take on the ads with a skilfully choreographed performance that sees him interact with each ad, as well as undergo a number of costume changes.
The main ad break went out during a live special of the Last Leg, with host Adam Hills urging viewers to stay tuned and watch the break. And, in addition to the first broadcast, a fully signed and audio described version of the break was available on All 4 and on 4Seven, extending the reach.
