The best ideas are often also the most simple. What better time to talk to people about the benefits of electric cars than when they’re researching (and worrying about) fuel economy? MGOMD, working collaboratively with What Car? came up with the idea of sponsoring their real world fuel economy tool, True MPG, for the electric Nissan LEAF. The partnership went way beyond headline branding, integrating Nissan LEAF throughout the user journey, dynamically showing electric cost comparisons, and building a charging station locator to ally concerns about infrastructure. And the research proved it worked – be that awareness, perceptions of electric leadership or next action.
