Elizabeth or ‘Buna’ to her industry friends, is a popular and respected media executive with over 18 years’ experience gained in commercial, operational and management roles in the TV and digital advertising industry across the UK and Africa. She has super strong commercial credentials approaching all her endeavours through an entrepreneurial lens supported by grounded lateral thinking. She’s passionate about the need for diversity and inclusion in the media industry and currently mentors for Creative Access.

Over her years of working in big broadcasters such as Viacom, Sky Media, Turner & A+E Networks she has built up a reputation of being a tough and accomplished negotiator while still doing so with creative vision and a smile. She has delivered high value commercial solutions growing business across TV partnerships, digital, social & branded content with rare, multi-platform quality – TV, online, and social.

At Sky Media, Elizabeth expanded her TV responsibilities, driving their partner channels digital offering, and selling out across their early sites. She continued the momentum by moving to the newly formed VBS sales team at Viacom as Head of digital when she became responsible for setting up and driving sales and innovative partnerships across MTV, Nickelodeon, and Paramount and Comedy sites. Upon her return to Sky Media, she grew the sponsorship business by 25% notably negotiating the first full year Big Brother sponsorship deal by Pink Casino on Channel 5.

Elizabeth’s all-round experience is exemplified in her role as Partnerships Director for VBS where she spear headed inventive partnerships for a variety of clients from Masterfoods and Fox to ad-funded programmes for NFL, Nike and Adidas . She has exceptional kids expertise typified by growing revenue by double digit growth across both Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network while working with over 20 clients across a six month period

She continued to grow her entrepreneurial and commercial experience notably as Sales Director for GTV - an African Broadcaster of premiership football where she set up a commercial department. She consulted. negotiated rights and partnerships, created content inventory consulted which led to revenue increasing over 300% during her tenure. She continued to excel in her role as Director of Partnerships in A+E Networks implementing process, advising on creative and negotiating the first cross medium partnership with Palmers on the Lifetime channel

Elizabeth turned her entrepreneurial skills and management experience and is Cofounder/CEO of Sixteenbynine – a TV and video centred media and planning agency backed by Goodstuff. She has recently helped develop the strategy and creative campaign for new to TV Jules Verne Travel which launched this week on Sky.
She is married with 2 kids.
