Flipz was at risk of being delisted from retailers due its poor commercial performance and losing younger shoppers. To reverse this, we had to bring under 35’s back into the brand.

Our work uncovered a killer insight that united this audience within Gaming. Gaming and snacking happened synonymously from 9-10pm daily with gamers snacking on competitor products instead of Flipz. Our task was to own this consumption moment and make Flipz the first choice snack for Gamers. We created the BIG FLIPZ GAME DROPZ. An activation to credibly land Flipz with gamers whilst creating a hype and buzz for the brand. This was 12-week activation that saw the creation of a prize draw for top gaming goodies that were dropped daily from 9-10pm. The activity was delivered in partnership with Twitch to ensure authenticity and scale with the gaming audience. The campaign was a commercial success. Household penetration increased by 30.7% YOY with sales during the campaign period up by 75% YOY. Most importantly, Flipz has not only remained listed in retailers, but they have increased distribution.
