Fix Radio has rewritten the rule book for radio by targeting vocation over demographic to become the UK’s fastest growing radio station - hitting the sweet spot between being a ‘mate on-site’ for its listeners and delivering highly creative objective smashing campaigns for major brands within the construction industry and beyond.

This mainly male C2DE trades audience has traditionally had to settle with frequent radio station channel-hopping to keep on-site objections at bay and uninspiring emotionless advertising. Beyond this, the fact that a career in the trades in the UK has traditionally not been held in the kind of esteem it is afforded elsewhere, it’s not hard to see why Fix Radio has galvanised and been championed by the audience it serves.

In the 12 months to June 2025, commercial revenue is up 35% YOY to £6.42 million and average weekly ‘pure trades’ listenership is up 56% to 725,000 (1 in 4 UK tradespeople). This is equivalent to 726 new tradespeople being welcomed into the Fix Radio community every day for the past year. The vast majority discovering Fix Radio through on-site recommendation.

Fix Radio engages deeply, authentically and on-a-level with its audience, evolving from a hyper-targeted marketing tool for trade-focused brands into a valuable channel for mainstream advertisers targeting a male demographic.

And in the process we may just be effecting a perception change towards pride in a career in the trades for the next generation.
