We grew, we won, we delivered, and we're just getting started
2024 was Talon’s biggest year yet. We grew 26% year-on-year, hold around 30% of the UK OOH market share (the largest of any independent), maintained a 100% client retention rate, and landed a new major win along the way. Behind the scenes, we moved into a new London HQ, grew headcount by 15% (with an 84.3% retention rate), and became the most awarded OOH agency at the OMAs. While we continued to lead at home, we also expanded our global footprint into the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg, following the appointment of our new Global CEO.
We also made big strides in effectiveness. We teamed up with JCDecaux, CACI, Route, and Nielsen to improve how OOH is measured in MMM. By replacing broad national averages with postcode-level sales and media data, we revealed a 42% jump in OOH ROI. That’s the difference between being overlooked and becoming one of the top-performing channels.
Our media partners dubbed us “the best specialist outdoor agency in the UK right now.” Our ACES approach won big for our clients, and we remained the hype man of the media mix.
