EDF and Coronation Street

ITV

Client: EDF

For over 60 years, new habits have become normal on Coronation Street before they became normal in Britain's living rooms. So to turn green energy into an everyday routine, EDF didn't advertise around the nation's favourite soap - it moved in. We shut down the cobbles for 24 hours to build EDF a home on TV's oldest street, and changed a national habit. The result? 246,320 Sunday Saver sign-ups, 3.4 million free electricity hours and 153 tonnes of CO2 saved.
