Something KFC do very well is face up to challenges when they know something isn’t right and their new Fries launch was no different. First, we hijacked our own advertising, adding (*Finger Lickin’ Good does not currently apply to our fries) onto existing live campaigns. At campaign launch we then took over some huge sites and social platforms, declaring the new fries recipe ‘Finally F*********** Good’ which certainly got noticed and crucially sold a lot of fries, generating nearly twice as much revenue vs target.
