Client: Keep Britain Tidy
Reach partnered with Keep Britain Tidy to transform the UK's litter crisis into a national movement by shifting public perception from apathy to pride. By flipping the narrative to make it cool to care, the campaign mobilized 585,000 Litter Heroes who pledged to remove 451,800 bags of rubbish. The strategy aligned print, digital, and social media coverage to engage diverse audiences ranging from primary school pupils to the Prime Minister, successfully generating over 2,000 media clips and securing support from 518 local councils. Through hyper-local storytelling and political advocacy, this initiative did more than clean up the country; it fostered long-term habit changes and demonstrated the power of community-focused, large-scale media influence.
