“Congratulations, you have the most useless degree.” That parting shot from a lecturer didn’t crush Kenya, it motivated her. With a calm grit and unshakable focus, she turned every setback into a stepping stone. When the pandemic stalled the events industry, she pivoted to agency life, excelling at McCann Manchester and later rebuilding HydraFacial’s EMEA events in London.
Redundancy, relocation issues, even a misdirected job interview, nothing phased her. Kenya kept her cool and landed at DCM Studios, where she transformed a short-term contract into a permanent role, delivering standout experiential work for LEGO, Channel 4, JD, Little Moons, and more. She co-created a BAFTA content series and led a media-first with Google.
Kenya doesn’t just run events—she powers through them with resilience, creativity, and sharp instinct. Her goal? To build her own agency and reshape the experiential space from within.
