GB News is Britain’s number one news channel, and in August 2026 it celebrated 12 consecutive months in top spot, ahead of Sky News and the BBC News Channel. In five years since launch, it has set new records for growth across TV, radio, digital and social platforms, reaching millions of viewers and listeners every week.

In the most recently released Radio Joint Audience Report (RAJAR), GB News Radio secured record-breaking results, unmatched by any other national radio station or network.The figures revealed GB News Radio’s reach was up 34 per cent year-on-year to 731,000 listeners, and grew eight per cent quarter-on-quarter. That growth is nearly three times greater than Talk’s 11.5 per cent, and almost five times higher than Times Radio’s 7 per cent.

GB News has also won a string of awards this year. In July, it was named Best News Programme of the Year at the National Reality TV Awards. In June, it claimed the TRIC Award for Best News Programme for the fourth-year running, beating BBC Breakfast, Good Morning Britain and ITV Evening News at the 2026 Television and Radio Industries Club Awards. In April, the channel was named Start-Up of the Year at the Campaign Media Company of the Year Awards 2026, recognising its growth and impact on the UK media landscape.
