The Home Office came to Channel 4 with a brief to shift the public's perceptions of policing, as part of its Make Your Difference campaign – a call to recruit 20,000 additional police officers over three years and seize the opportunity to make the police more representative of the communities they serve.

Channel 4 is committed to diversity and inclusion and aims to represent the whole of the UK. These issues were at the heart of the brief and the Home Office needed an informed and trusted voice to deliver this important and thought-provoking campaign.
