Time Out

Time Out

In a tough market for legacy publishers, Time Out is growing. That’s because we know exactly who we are, where to pivot, and when to embrace our heritage. Audience reach is up +24% YOY. UK revenue is up +19% YOY. Agency satisfaction sits at 95.9%. This is a business in genuine growth mode.

That growth is deliberate. We’ve signed our largest commercial partnership since going digital in 2022, launched category-first thought leadership research, diversified into long-form video, and doubled down on incredible live experiences and trusted, expert human expertise, one year after ‘slop’ was the OED word of the year. Our 2026 Agency Survey shows that this strategy is working: partners describe us as ‘credible’, ‘reliable’, ‘premium’, with ‘unmatched’ creative ideas. The proof points are there. Best Cities 2026, our first commercially partnered release with Intrepid Travel, drove a +400% increase in PR coverage and won Best Data Initiative at the PPA Awards. Live events (our fastest-growing area) are up +61% YOY, with activations spanning from Westfield Sounds of the Summer to a landmark London Eye takeover. YouTube subscribers are up +100% YOY. Prioritising knowing our audience and developing our thought leadership capability means that agency-perceived value of our insights has risen +11% YOY to 93%, showing that our partners have taken notice of this new depth in our commercial offering. Time Out is demonstrating what a historically strong digital-first publisher looks like when it reinvents its commercial model without diluting editorial trust.
